& Regulations
- Membership is open
to all individuals, male and female, who must be over 18yrs old at the
date of application whether or not they are members of any motor club.
- All applications
for membership of the club, will in the first instance be examined by
the committee, who may refuse membership.
Aims and Objectives
- At the request
of any affliated M.S.A. A.N.I.C.C. or M.S.I.A. club, where possible
to provide a team of Marshals at any speed event.
- To improve and
enhance the image and quality of marshalling at such events, by organising
training sessions on a regular basis.
- In the short and
long term to equip the club with the necessary equipment, to enable
club members to carry out their full range of duties.
Members Volunteering
to Assist on A Event. Individual Duties and Responsibilities.
- It is your responsibility
to ensure that you wear warm clothing, suitable footwear and that you
have sufficient supply of food and beverages.
- Under no cicumstances
should you present yourself while under the influence of alcohol, as
you will not be allowed to assist on that particular event.
- The consumption
of alcohol while assisting on ANY event is strictly forbidden.
- The use of a camera
or cameras while assisting on ANY event is strictly forbidden.
- Following "Signing
On" you assist on an event under the direction of the Stage Commander,
Sector Marshal, Area Controller and or Senior Event Officials.
- Any area and or
junction where you are assisting SHALL be "cleaned up" including all
tape and posts to the next junction and deposited at the end of the
S.S.
- All Marshals Bibs
and equipment remain the property of the host club or Lough Neagh Car
& Tarmac Rally Marshals' Club Ltd.
- Any breach of
the above duties and responsibilities which comes to the attention of
the committee may result in disciplinary action being taken against
the individual member or members concerned, including expulsion.
